Map & Directions to Aanimad (57 Mary Street, Alton)

This map and directions page is still under some development, but it will certainly get you here (and can even help with parking for larger events).

Aanimad is located at 57 Mary Street, Alton, Ontario, L7K 0E3

Home phone: 416-907-2076  OR  519-940-3439

From Orangeville:

  1. Hwy 10 South to the new County Road 109 (1st lights south of Hwy 9).
  2. Right (West) on 109 to 2nd set of lights (Porterfield Road).
  3. Left (South) on Porterfield, across train tracks and curving west into Alton (becoming Queen Street).
  4. Cross tracks again and come to THE Alton intersection (a stop sign at Main & Queen).
  5. Right (North) at Stop Sign (on Main Street). Mary Street is the second right.
  6. Aanimad is at the end of the cul-de-sac, under the 50 wind turbine tower!

From Toronto area:

Here are the simple directions:

  1. Hwy 410 North to Bovaird.
  2. West on Bovaird to Hwy 10 (Main St. - a.k.a. Hurontario St.).
  3. North on Hwy 10/Main/Hurontario into Caledon Village.
  4. Left on Charleston sideroad/24.
  5. Right at next lights (Main Street).
  6. North to Alton intersection (a stop sign at Main & Queen). Continue through that intersection. Mary Street is the second right.
  7. Aanimad is at the end of the cul-de-sac, under the 50 wind turbine tower!

Here's the big picture:

The above map does not show a good connection between Hwy 410 and Hwy 10.  The following detail shows how Bovaird connects the two.

NEW!  For a fast/scenic route, you can now take the 410 all the way to Mayfield Road.  Turning left on Mayfield, you then have a choice of Heart Lake Road (picturesque), Kennedy Road (more rural - some dirt road), or Hurontario/Hwy 10 (two lanes) to get you to Charleston Sideroad (24):

There's not much to Alton, but if you somehow get lost in the village itself, this might help (the red AE dot is Aanimad):

For larger events, some parking instructions might be useful:
